Teresa resides in Surrey BC. With gratitude she acknowledges the land she has loved, worked, played, and raised her daughter on; is the unceeded territory of the Kwantleen, Katzie and Semiahmoo.
Chartered Herbalist, Dominion Herbal College (2015) Founding Member of Pacific Northwest Dream Group Mentored by Dr. Diane Greig (2009) Facilitator PNWDG (2017) Teresa studied psychology at Douglas College (1978-79) until she was pulled to follow her great love of the plant world. Apprenticing in garden design (1980 to 1984) she continued in that field, establishing her own company; Gardens De Vine (1997).
Completing a two year program with the Center for Sacred Studies (2014); a program that integrates Transpersonal healing principles and teachings of Indigenous perspective; ways of being that honour the Earth and all Her sentient beings, Teresa now officiates as 'Minister of Her Walking Prayer' for Weddings, Celebrations of Life and other ceremonies.
Since 2016 Teresa has volunteered, organized and facilitated several events to nurture community and good will at the Plot Sharing Garden Project in the City of Surrey, and under the Mentor-ship of Cree Elder Amy Eustergurling, Teresa has organized and co-facilitated several Solstices and Equinoxes Observations at the Newton Medicine Wheel.
Teresa began her study with 7Lotus Chi Kung Canada in (2014), with practices that have supported, informed, and deepened the quality of her life’s path. Filled with gratitude for her teacher Jan Zickler and for the Founder of the 7lotus Chi Kung system, Dr. Carlos de Leon, Teresa's wish is to share the benefits of these practices.
Teresa is in the Surrey and White Rock area and currently (2021) is offering on-line zoom classes.
